Outside Sales Representative

Our growing business requires an Outside Sales Representative to increase sales in our Western US territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. Responsibilities:

Qualify, follow up, educate, and develop a substantial volume of outbound leads
Generate demos and opportunities for sales using email marketing
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest through cold discovery calls, and email campaigns
Utilize your active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs and business problems.
Work closely with the Marketing team to drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation
Generate sales reports each week and submitting them to management
Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence in the Western territory.
Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.
Update client information in the company contact database - Hubspot
Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.

Required Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field required
3+ years' outside sales experience
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Must be willing to travel up to 50 percent of the time
Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet software
Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
Excellent interpersonal communication skill
Strong analytical skills
A desire to grow and advance a career in sales

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Should be eligible to work in the United States.
